Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone, born on 5th January 1986 (pronounced as [diPIkaPaduko or [paDukoor [paDuko]), is a famous Indian movie actress. Her main roles are in films that have a predominantly Hindi accent. Her awards include the three Filmfare Awards. She is the highest paid actors. Time Magazine named Padukone among the top 100 influential people in the world in 2018. They also awarded her The TIME100 Impact Award 2022. Padukone was a daughter of tennis winner Prakash Padukone. Padukone was born and raised in Bangalore. She participated in the national championships when she was a teenager, but she gave up playing to become a model. She soon began receiving offers to act in movies and her first performance was that of Aishwarya, the Kannada lead character. Padukone later played the dual part of Shah Rukh Khan opposite her in Om Shanti Om (2007) the debut Bollywood film. The film earned Padukone the Filmfare Award Best Female Debut. Padukone received praise for her role as the main character in the romantic Love Aaj Kal (2009) However, the film was shortly followed by a minor loss.
