Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson (born in 1961) was a famous American actress. Elson started her career as an actress as a young child and as model. She is best known for her role as Alice Tyler in the CBS Science-fiction show. Andrea auditioned for and was awarded the role as Lynn Tanner of the ALF popular program (1986). She continued to work for many years on various popular TV shows as well as Movies of the Week before leaving the entertainment business to focus on raising her family. ALF was a challenging period to Andrea Elson, who played Lynn Tanner, the teenage daughter of Kate and Willie. In her retrospective from 2000, People Elson said developing as an actress in the midst of a satcom's viewing audience was a challenge. Elson, who was green eyed New York City native grew as a traveler because of the job in advertising that her father had. She had already lived in New York as well as Chicago San Diego and Los Angeles before she turned 10. Andrea was living in San Diego when she met an agent. Her role for which she auditioned was selected. Fusco defended the premise saying that "ALF is 285 years old, he is able to drink beer because he's old enough. ALF was getting more popular among children, so NBC advised Fusco not to drink alcohol because children were watching. He's a poor example to follow. Fusco was convinced that ALF was able to do this, even as an adult, was capable of doing this. Alcohol... death. In 1995, he was diagnosed to have lymphoma. The cancer was removed successfully, and he remained in full recovery for the remainder of his life. He died from the disease on June 26, 2019, at the age of 75 at the Lillian Booth Actors Home in Englewood New Jersey.
