Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson, an American model, actress and actor was a former actor who has since retired. Elson started her professional life as a model, a child and actress. Her most famous television appearance can be seen as Alice Tyler, on CBS"Science Fiction. Andrea was picked to portray Lynn Tanner in the popular television series ALF starting in 1986. She continued to work over the years on a variety of television shows that were a hit and Movies of the Week before taking a break from the entertainment industry in order to spend time with her children. Andrea Elson played Lynn Tanner in ALF, the teenaged daughter to Kate the actress and Willie. In a 2000 retrospective in People Elson said developing as an actress in the midst of an audience that viewed sitcoms was hard. Green-eyed Elson was born in New York City on March 6th 1970. She grew to be an actress who traveled because her father was employed as an advertising executive. Andrea was already a resident of New York as well as Chicago, San Diego and Los Angeles before she turned ten. Andrea was living in San Diego when she met an agent. And the role for which she auditioned was selected. Fusco explained the decision by stating "ALF is 285 years old, which means he's older enough to drink alcohol." As ALF's popularity grew with kids, NBC informed Fusco that they could not allow him to drink since the kids were watching. That was an unfavorable example. Fusco believed ALF could drink alcohol even when he was an adult. In 1995 he discovered that he had lymphoma, which was successfully treated and then remained in remission till the year 2019. The disease killed him on the 26th June 2019, when he had been 75 years old at the Lillian Booth Actors Home, Englewood NJ.
