Sheryl Underwood is a American television host, comedian and actor famous for hosting the popular daytime talk show The Talk. Sheryl was born in Little Rock and grew up in Little Rock. Sheryl has a family which has experienced a variety of problems. She spent most of her childhood taking care of her younger sister Frankie who was afflicted by Polio. As a teenager, she experienced difficulties with her mom. Sheryl recalls that her mother had a time when she stabbed her father for being too close.
